Neurodiverse Affirming Therapy

Telehealth therapy for ADHD and neurodivergent adults navigating burnout and overwhelm

Does everyday life feel more effortful than it seems to for others? You may struggle with focus, organization, time management, or following through on tasks, even though you are intelligent, capable, and doing your best.

Or perhaps you often feel out of step socially. You may replay conversations, miss subtle social cues, feel drained by interactions, mask parts of yourself to fit in, or feel overwhelmed by sensory input and changes in routine.

Many of the adults I work with are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who appear successful on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or exhausted from trying to keep up. Some wonder whether Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, executive functioning challenges, or Autism Spectrum Disorder may be part of the picture.

Therapy offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to better understand how your mind works and to develop strategies that align with your strengths rather than forcing you to fit into ways of functioning that don’t.

Together, we may explore:

  • Attention, focus, and follow-through

  • Chronic overwhelm and mental fatigue

  • Emotional regulation and rejection sensitivity

  • Social fatigue and masking

  • Sensory sensitivities

  • Self-criticism and perfectionism

  • Communication and relationship patterns

  • Practical tools for organization, routines, and self-care

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that your brain does not need to be fixed. With greater understanding and the right support, it becomes possible to move through life with more clarity, self-compassion, and confidence.
